HD IP cameras provide better image quality so that it delivers image details which are really important in surveillance. However, when cameras have no light, it’s hard to get any image, much less degraded image. With day & night switch function, this kind of HD IP cameras can shoot color images during the day and will be automatically changed to night mode using an ICR when the light reduces to a certain extent. But in a complex outdoor lighting condition, it’s very difficult to keep the recognizable and low noise images compared to when there is enough light.

XeronVision new generation of White-Night camera based on low illumination sensor and image process technology offers outstanding color image performance with improved noise reduction even under super dark condition. It’s different from what most of D&N cameras work, which changes to B&W mode. Hence, White-Night camera is a real D&N camera in this regards. It can excellently maintain details and colors even in very dark conditions. This will greatly help users to identify objects by giving color information with recognition and identification on demand.

This combination of perfect sensor and technology, our camera provides outstanding performance; real-time full HD 1080p ultra-low light video output, excellent color image offer under night or dark condition. Plus, with rich function interface, it is suitable for low light environment or some video monitoring occasions where are dark or IR LEDs can’t be used. With excellent night vision performance ability, it can be also used instead of infrared cameras in some scenarios.

Wide Application Range

White-Night camera has a wide range of application including many places such as urban road where IR cameras cannot be normally installed due to plate number reflection under IR LEDs. It will cause overexposure on the license plate so you can’t see it clearly.

White-Night camera provides HD video image solution for a variety of security monitoring places such as highway, traffic monitoring, urban road, tunnel, subway, museum, warehouse, bar, underground parking and/or etc. where IR LED’s can’t be used.

Work under low light environment

It can offer excellent high quality image under low light environment.

 

Less Maintenance Issues

In terms of purchase cost, cameras with integrated IR are relatively lower cost than White-Night cameras. In a short term, it’s beneficial to have IR cameras. However, in a long term, you will realize that using White-Night cameras are advantageous when it comes to maintenance issues. As there’s no IR LEDs, you don’t need to pay for the IR LED problem such as infrared lamp heat. So the maintenance cost is low.

 

Stable Image Quality

It is suitable for the environment where the monitoring point is far away from the power supply. White-Night camera is not affected by distance and IR degradation. On the other hand, IR camera’s power consumption is much higher than White-Night camera and light declines over time. It makes the video quality of IR camera worse.

Back Focus Wheel

 

Image sensor and lens focal length may not match depending on conditions since it is possible to use box camera by replacing diverse lens.

XeronVision’s 2M box camera can match the image sensor and lens focal length since it uses Back Focus Wheel.

It is possible to control the focal length in a more precise and softer manner thanks to the wheel that is designed much larger than that of the competing products.
